CMHA-CEI provides a wide range mental health and substance abuse services to the residents of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties. CMHA-CEI provides crisis services, adult and children's mental health treatment, family interventions, developmentally disabled services and a wide range of community initiatives. Child and Family Charities (Ingham County) offers substance abuse and co-occurring substance abuse and mental health counseling services for adolescents and adults. Referrals are accepted from young people themselves, from parents, schools, probation officers, physicians or anyone concerned. Services are available to youth from Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Most insurances are accepted and there is a sliding fee scale for those uninsured or with limited income. Services are available to all regardless of religion, race/ethnicity, gender, age, or sexual orientation or gender identity.
Services include:
- Comprehensive assessment with recommendations
- Individual Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Early Intervention Group (for youth age 13 – 15 who do not need treatment services)
- Case Management Services to assist youth and families with community resources and life skills
